EARLY THIS TUESDAY AFTERNOON...A LARGE AREA OF HIGH PRESSURE
EXTENDED FROM NORTHEAST MINNESOTA...SOUTHWEST INTO NORTHERN
COLORADO. A COLD FRONT EXTENDING INTO THE SOUTHERN CANADIAN
PRAIRIES...FROM LOW PRESSURE IN NORTHERN ONTARIO...WILL SLIDE
SOUTHEAST INTO THE REGION LATER THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING.

SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP THIS AFTERNOON
ACROSS SOUTHERN SASKATCHEWAN...EASTERN MONTANA...AND THE WESTERN
DAKOTAS. A FEW OF THESE STORMS COULD BE STRONG IN EASTERN MONTANA
AND THE WESTERN DAKOTAS...WITH SMALL HAIL AND GUSTY WINDS BEING
THE PRIMARY THREATS. HIGH TEMPERATURES WILL RANGE FROM THE LOWER
70S EAST...TO THE LOWER 80S IN THE WEST.

THIS EVENING AND OVERNIGHT...SHOWERS AND STORMS WILL CONTINUE TO
PUSH EAST...WITH PRECIPITATION CHANCES INCREASING IN THE EASTERN
DAKOTAS AND MINNESOTA BY THURSDAY. THE WARMING TREND WILL CONTINUE
THROUGHOUT THE WEEK AND INTO THE WEEKEND WITH MORE PRECIPITATION
CHANCES ENTERING THE FORECAST ON FRIDAY AND SATURDAY.
