TODAY...SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE ONGOING IN WESTERN NORTH
DAKOTA. HIGHS THIS AFTERNOON WILL RANGE FROM THE LOW 80S IN
WESTERN MINNESOTA TO THE LOW 90S IN EASTERN MONTANA AND THE
WESTERN DAKOTAS. THERE WILL BE A SLIGHT CHANCE FOR AFTERNOON
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS IN EASTERN MONTANA INTO WESTERN AND SOUTHERN
NORTH DAKOTA...AS WELL AS ACROSS SOUTH DAKOTA. EXPECT PARTLY
CLOUDY SKIES IN THE WEST WITH MOSTLY SUNNY CONDITIONS FOR THE REST
OF THE REGION. SOME SMOKEY SKIES HAVE BEEN OBSERVED IN THE EAST
FROM WILDFIRES IN CANADA.

TONIGHT...EXPECT LOWS IN THE UPPER 50S TO THE LOWER 60S OVER THE
REGION WITH PARTLY CLOUDY SKIES IN THE SOUTH AND WEST. SKIES
SHOULD GENERALLY REMAIN CLEAR ACROSS THE REST OF THE AREA.

CHANCES FOR SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL PERSIST INTO THE
WEEKEND...AS SUBTLE IMPULSES CONTINUE TO RIDE ALONG AN UPPER LEVEL
RIDGE.
