Snow is expected to spread eastward across portions of the
northern plains today. Accumulating snow is expected over
southern Saskatchewan and Manitoba, northern and eastern areas of
North Dakota, and northern areas of Minnesota. Breezy northwest
winds are also expect Monday, creating the potential for reduced
visibility  in blowing snow and hazardous travel conditions.

For Tuesday, lingering chances for snow and dangerously cold
conditions are in the forecast. Highs will be in the single digits
and teens, with wind chill values as low as 25 below zero.

Extremely cold conditions will continue into Friday.
