Dangerous winter weather continues across the northern plains.
Gusty winds as high as 35 mph will continue to cause blowing and
drifting snow across northern parts of the region. Travel is still
very hazardous across much of the region at this time.

Along with the windy conditions temperatures have also fallen
sharply across the region. Wind chill temperatures across
eastern Montana, southern Saskatchewan, and western North Dakota
have dropped to as low as 25 below zero.

Dangerously cold conditions are here to stay. Highs will be in
the single digits and teens, with wind chill values as low as 30
below zero.
