Around the region early Wednesday morning, gusty northwest winds
were continuing along with a wintry mix of light snow and patchy
freezing drizzle, from southern Manitoba, through the eastern
Dakotas and into Minnesota. Temperatures ranged from the teens in
the far east, to the 40s in South Dakota.

Cloudy conditions will prevail for most of the region today,
except in western South Dakota and southeastern Montana. Windy
conditions along with some snow and light freezing drizzle will
continue across Minnesota today. The coldest air will be in
southern Manitoba, as temperatures fall into the mid teens. The
warmest air will be felt in southern South Dakota with highs in
the upper 40s.

A round of light snow with up to one inch of accumulation is
forecast for the western and central Dakotas tonight through
Thursday morning. Flurries can be expected elsewhere.
