Across the northern high plains and southern Canadian prairies
early Wednesday morning, the sky was clear north and west, with
clouds in the south and east. Showers were continuing in South
Dakota, with thunderstorms this morning in southern Minnesota.
Temperatures ranged from the 50s north to the lower 70s in
southern South Dakota and Minnesota.

For today, showers and thunderstorms will linger in southeastern
South Dakota and southern Minnesota. Elsewhere, it will be mostly
sunny. Highs today will range from the upper 70s in southern
Manitoba, to the 80s elsewhere.

Looking ahead, Thursday will be sunny and dry, with the exception
across the far west, where scattered showers and thunderstorms
will be on the increase. Chances for showers and thunderstorms
gradually shift to the east Friday through Sunday. Highs will be
in the 80s to lower 90s Thursday through Sunday.
