Early Thursday morning around the region, the sky was clear in the east,
with clouds on the increase west. It will remain dry, with the
coldest temperatures residing in southeastern Saskatchewan, where
upper 30s will occur. Elsewhere, expect lows in the 40s across
Montana, North Dakota and northeastern Minnesota, and 50s in South
Dakota and southern Minnesota.

Later today, expect isolated light rainshowers to spread from
eastern Montana into northwestern North Dakota. The rest of the
region will remain dry with partly sunny conditions.

Looking ahead, chances for rain return to the forecast Friday
through the weekend. Cooler weather will also highlight this
weekend, as highs in the 50s and 60s are expected.
