EARLY THIS AFTERNOON...A LARGE LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WAS LOCATED OVER
WESTERN SOUTH DAKOTA. SHOWERS EXTENDED FROM THIS LOW...NORTHWARD
ACROSS WESTERN SOUTH DAKOTA...AND INTO WESTERN AND SOUTHERN NORTH
DAKOTA.

THE LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM IS FORECAST TO LIFT NORTHEASTWARD ACROSS
SOUTH DAKOTA...AND INTO SOUTH CENTRAL NORTH DAKOTA DURING THE
EVENING...BEFORE REACHING SOUTHERN MANITOBA EARLY WEDNESDAY
MORNING. SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE FORECAST TO EXPAND NORTH
AND EAST THROUGH THE AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT ACROSS THE DAKOTAS AND
INTO SASKATCHEWAN AND MANITOBA...AS WELL AS INTO MINNESOTA. A FEW
OF THE STORMS IN SOUTH DAKOTA AND SOUTH CENTRAL TO SOUTHEASTERN
NORTH DAKOTA COULD BE SEVERE. THE GREATEST THREATS WILL BE FOR AN
ISOLATED WEAK TORNADO AND STRONG WINDS.

LOOK FOR HIGH TEMPERATURES ON TUESDAY TO RANGE FROM THE MID 50S OVER
SOUTHERN MANITOBA TO THE UPPER 70S IN SOUTHEASTERN SOUTH DAKOTA.
