LATE THIS SUNDAY MORNING...A COLD FRONT EXTENDED SOUTHWEST INTO
SOUTHEASTERN MONTANA FROM LOW PRESSURE LOCATED OVER EASTERN NORTH
DAKOTA. ANOTHER CENTER OF LOW PRESSURE WAS LOCATED ALONG THIS
FRONT ON THE EXTREME WESTERN BORDER OF NORTH DAKOTA AND SOUTH
DAKOTA. WIDELY SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WERE LOCATED
OVER EASTERN NORTH DAKOTA AND WESTERN MINNESOTA AND MOVING EAST.
SOME OF THESE STORMS WERE PRODUCING SEVERE WIND GUSTS. IN THE
WESTERN DAKOTAS AND EASTERN MONTANA...A FEW SHOWERS AND A COUPLE
OF ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WERE ALSO MOVING EAST.

REST OF TODAY...STORMS WILL BEGIN TO REDEVELOP IN SOUTHEASTERN
NORTH DAKOTA...CENTRAL TO EASTERN SOUTH DAKOTA...AND INTO
MINNESOTA ALONG THE SOUTHEASTWARD MOVING COLD FRONT. SOME OF
THESE STORMS MAY BE SEVERE WITH VERY LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS
BEING THE PRIMARY THREATS. HIGH TEMPERATURES WILL RANGE FROM THE
LOWER 70S IN THE SOUTHERN CANADIAN PRAIRIES...TO THE MID 90S IN
SOUTHERN SOUTH DAKOTA AHEAD OF THE COLD FRONT.

MUCH COOLER TEMPERATURES WILL BE IN PLACE ACROSS THE REGION TO
START THE WORK WEEK.
