A WINTER STORM IS IMPACTING THE NORTHERN PLAINS...WITH LIGHT TO
MODERATE SNOW FALLING ACROSS SOUTH DAKOTA...SOUTHEASTERN NORTH
DAKOTA...AND PARTS OF MINNESOTA. NORTHWEST WINDS ACROSS THE REGION WERE
ALSO GUSTING NEAR 40 MPH AND WILL REMAIN WINDY THROUGH THE DAY. FOR
PARTS OF EASTERN SOUTH DAKOTA AND WESTERN MINNESOTA THIS WILL
CREATE BLIZZARD CONDITIONS INTO THE AFTERNOON.

TEMPERATURES TODAY WILL REMAIN STEADY OR EVEN FALL THROUGH THE DAY
AS COLDER ARCTIC AIR PUSHES SOUTH OUT OF CANADA. HIGHS WILL RANGE
FROM THE SINGLE DIGITS NORTHWEST TO 20S SOUTHEAST. SNOW WILL TAPER
OFF THROUGH THE AFTERNOON...HOWEVER BLOWING SNOW WILL PERSIST INTO
THE EVENING FOR EASTERN SOUTH DAKOTA AND MINNESOTA.

LOWS TONIGHT WILL DROP TO THE TEENS BELOW ZERO NORTH TO THE SINGLE
DIGITS BELOW SOUTH. DANGEROUS WIND CHILLS IN THE 30S BELOW ZERO
ARE EXPECTED OVERNIGHT ACROSS NORTH DAKOTA...THE SOUTHERN CANADIAN
PRAIRIES...AND NORTHERN MINNESOTA.
