A strong cold front will sweep through the region tonight producing
very windy conditions, which will continue through Wednesday.
Gusts in excess of 45 mph will be possible across the Dakotas and
portions of Minnesota.

In addition to the gusty winds, a slight chance of patchy freezing
rain and snow is possible across the eastern Dakotas and
Minnesota for tonight and tomorrow. Winter weather advisories have
been issued for eastern North Dakota and extreme northwestern
Minnesota for possible icy roads due to patchy freezing rain.
Some spots will see plain rain showers with no snow mixed in or
freezing on road surfaces. Precipitation in any given location
will be very light in nature.
