Widespread snow was falling this Sunday morning across eastern
Montana and the Dakotas. Snow will continue to spread east over
the Northern Plains on Sunday, bringing widespread accumulations
of 2 to 6 inches across the region by late Sunday afternoon.
Patchy freezing drizzle can also be found through the morning
hours across areas of southwestern and southern North Dakota.

Arctic air will follow Sunday night through Wednesday morning.
Dangerous wind chills as cold as 30 below zero are expected during
this time frame.

Another round of light snow will begin to develop Sunday night
across the west, slowly spreading eastward on Monday and Tuesday.
