Around the region skies were mostly clear from the central Dakotas
westward into eastern Montana, and cloudy from southern Manitoba
through the eastern Dakotas and into Minnesota.

For the rest of today, it will remain cloudy in the east along
with a slight chance of snow. Mostly sunny and milder elsewhere.
Highs will range from the mid 20s east, to around 60 in western
South Dakota.

A strong cold front will sweep through the region tonight producing
very windy conditions, which will continue through Wednesday. A
wintry mix of light freezing rain and snow is forecast from southern
Manitoba, into the eastern Dakotas and Minnesota tonight into
Wednesday morning.
