Across the northern high plains and southern Canadian Prairies
this Thursday morning, occasional light snow was occurring, however
expect little or no accumulation.

For today, expect cloudy conditions, with occasional flurries or
light snow. It will be warm enough for a chance of rain across
South Dakota. Highs today will range from the teens in northern
Minnesota, to around 40 in southern South Dakota.

Periodic chances for light snow along with brisk winds at times
can be expected through Saturday. Looking ahead into late next
week, very cold air is expected to pour across the region and
possibly continue through the Christmas holiday.
