A trough of low pressure across the eastern Dakotas pushes
eastward toward Minnesota, bringing scattered showers with it.

For the rest of today look for mostly sunny skies over eastern
Montana and the western Dakotas, while mostly cloudy skies with
showers and thunderstorms persist in the eastern Dakotas, Minnesota,
and southeastern Manitoba. Minnesota will continue to see showers
and thunderstorms with periods of heavy rain into the night. Daytime
highs in the 60s and lower 70s over eastern portions of the region,
with upper 70s and lower 80s over western parts of the Northern
Plains. Overnight lows in the 50s and 60s.

Chances for showers and thunderstorms again on Thursday, mainly for
the Dakotas and northeastern Minnesota. Eastern Montana will be
mostly clear.
