AN UPPER LEVEL HIGH PRESSURE RIDGE OVER THE NORTHERN PLAINS WILL
KEEP VERY WARM AIR OVER THE REGION TODAY. SMOKE FROM FIRES IN THE
WESTERN STATES WILL CONTINUE TO PLAGUE THE NORTHERN PLAINS. PATCHY
FOG IS EXPECTED OVER THE EASTERN PARTS OF THE REGION.

EARLY THIS MORNING...CLEAR TO PARTLY CLOUDY SKIES WITH LOWS IN THE
50S AND 60S.

LATER THIS SATURDAY...DRY AND WARM CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED WITH
HIGHS NEAR 100 IN THE WESTERN PORTIONS OF THE REGION TO THE MID 70S
IN PARTS OF MINNESOTA.

CHANCES OF PRECIPITATION RETURN IN WESTERN PORTION OF THE
REGION ON SUNDAY...AND IN THE EASTERN PORTIONS ON MONDAY.
