HIGH PRESSURE PUSHES EASTWARD ACROSS MINNESOTA THIS AFTERNOON AS
LOW PRESSURE DEVELOPS ALONG THE ROCKY MOUNTAINS AND BEGINS TO MOVE
TOWARD THE REGION.

PARTLY TO MOSTLY CLOUDY SKIES ARE EXPECTED ACROSS THE NORTHERN
PLAINS STATES TODAY. TEMPERATURES WILL LEVEL OFF FROM NEAR 50 IN
NORTHEASTERN MINNESOTA TO THE 70S IN THE CENTRAL AND WESTERN
DAKOTAS. OVERNIGHT LOWS TONIGHT WILL RANGE FROM THE UPPER 20S IN
NORTHEASTERN MINNESOTA...TO THE LOWER 50S IN SOUTHERN SOUTH DAKOTA.

SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE LIKELY ACROSS THE NORTHERN PLAINS THIS
EVENING THROUGH WEDNESDAY EVENING. TOTAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS SHOULD
RANGE FROM A FEW HUNDREDTHS OF AN INCH ACROSS FAR SOUTHWEST NORTH
DAKOTA TO AROUND AN INCH ACROSS FAR NORTHEAST NORTH DAKOTA AND
NORTHWEST MINNESOTA.

COOLER TEMPERATURES WILL SPREAD ACROSS THE REGION LATE THURSDAY AND
INTO THE WEEKEND. TEMPERATURES WILL FALL INTO THE 30S AT NIGHT AND
40S DURING THE DAY FOR MANY LOCATIONS.
