Today, under increasing clouds, look for highs to range from the
upper 70s in southern Canada, to the lower 90s in southern South
Dakota.

Chances for showers and thunderstorms will linger through the day,
as precipitation slowly spreads eastward across much of the region.
This afternoon and evening, some storms in western and central South
Dakota may become severe. Large hail, damaging winds, and isolated
tornadoes will be possible.
