HIGH PRESSURE EXTENDS INTO THE DAKOTAS WITH MOSTLY CLOUDY TO CLOUDY
SKIES AND AREAS OF LIGHT SNOW FROM THE CENTRAL DAKOTAS INTO
MINNESOTA.

TODAY...CONTINUED MOSTLY CLOUDY CENTRAL AND EAST WITH SOME PARTIAL
CLEARING IN THE WESTERN HALF OF THE DAKOTAS. HIGHS WILL RANGE FROM
THE TEENS NORTH NEAR THE INTERNATIONAL BORDER...TO THE MID 20S IN
SOUTHEASTERN MINNESOTA.

A STRONG COLD FRONT WILL MOVE FROM NORTH TO SOUTH ACROSS THE REGION
TODAY AND TONIGHT...BRINGING SOME LIGHT SNOW TO PORTIONS OF THE
NORTHERN PLAINS. A STRONGER COLD AIR SURGE IS EXPECTED EARLY NEXT
WEEK...AND WILL RESULT IN VERY COLD TEMPERATURES ACROSS THE NORTHERN
PLAINS STATES. DANGEROUS WIND CHILLS WILL BE POSSIBLE TO START NEXT
WEEK.
