For the region the rest of Tuesday night, a storm system will
begin working its way into eastern Montana and western North
Dakota. Light snow and gusty winds will spread through the
Dakotas and into Minnesota through Wednesday evening. Expect
widespread low visibilities in snow and blowing snow. Winter
weather advisories and winter storm watches have been issued from
Montana, through the Dakotas, and Minnesota. Widespread snowfall
amounts between 1 and 4 inches will be likely across the region by
Thursday morning.

Dangerously cold wind chills as low as 40 below zero at times
will develop Wednesday night and continue through the weekend.

Another round of light snow is forecast to move through for
Thursday night through Friday.
