Mostly clear skies persist across much of the region today except
for some developing showers and isolated thunderstorms from southern
Saskatchewan southward across western North Dakota.

It will be hot again today for much of the Northern Plains with
showers and thunderstorms mainly across eastern Montana and western
North Dakota. Highs will range from a much cooler mid 70s near Lake
Superior to near 100 in eastern Montana and the western Dakotas.

Expect another toasty day on Monday with continued chances for
thunderstorms. Temperatures will range from the upper 90s in the
western Dakotas to the 70s near Lake Superior.
