This afternoon skies were clearing over the western Dakotas and
eastern Montana with pockets of rain in northern Minnesota. A
chance of wintry mix exists for northern areas of North Dakota
and Minnesota into the evening hours. Otherwise strong northwest
winds can be expected over the Dakotas and eastern Minnesota this
afternoon.

Highs will range from the mid 30s in northeast Minnesota and
northern North Dakota to the upper 50s in southwest South Dakota.

Temperatures this weekend will continue to rise as highs reach the
50s to 70s by Sunday through the region with a chance or two of
light rain.
