Light snow falling in eastern Montana and portions of the Dakotas
will continue on an eastward track across the Northern Plains
through the day. Winds will be breezy in western and central areas.
Expect periods of blowing and drifting snow to create hazardous
travel conditions.

Chances for snow will remain in the forecast through at least mid
week, as an active weather pattern progresses across the region.
Look for below average temperatures to persist into the weekend.
