EARLY THIS MORNING...HIGH PRESSURE WAS CENTERED OVER SOUTHERN
MANITOBA WITH A LOW PRESSURE TROUGH ALONG THE LEE OF THE ROCKIES. A
STRONG LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM OVER SOUTHERN MINNESOTA AND WISCONSIN
WILL MOVE NORTHEAST INTO THE GREAT LAKES TODAY.

SCATTERED LIGHT SHOWERS WERE LINGERING IN EASTERN MONTANA...AND HAD
ENTERED WESTERN SOUTH DAKOTA AND SOUTHWESTERN NORTH DAKOTA.

EXPECT MOSTLY CLOUDY SKIES OVER WESTERN PORTIONS OF THE NORTHERN
PLAINS WITH A FEW SCATTERED SHOWERS. CLOUDS AND SNOW SHOULD BE
MOVING OUT OF MINNESOTA TODAY WITH CLEAR TO PARTLY CLOUDY SKIES
EXPECTED OVER EASTERN PORTIONS OF THE NORTHERN PLAINS.

HIGHS TODAY SHOULD RANGE FROM THE LOWER 30S OVER SOUTHERN MANITOBA
TO THE 50S OVER SOUTHEASTERN MONTANA AND WESTERN SOUTH DAKOTA.

A CHANCE OF RAIN SHOWERS FRIDAY AND FRIDAY NIGHT...POSSIBLY MIXED
WITH SNOW FRIDAY NIGHT. OTHERWISE LOOK FOR A WARMING TREND THROUGH
THE WEEKEND AND INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK.
