...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT SOUTH CENTRAL GRANT COUNTY UNTIL
530 PM MDT...

At 509 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 12
miles south of Carson, or 15 miles southeast of Elgin, moving
southeast at 20 mph.

Half inch hail and wind gusts to 40 mph will be possible with this
storm.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of south central Grant
County.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect until 1000 PM MDT for
south central North Dakota.
