...FOG WAS REDUCING VISIBILITY ACROSS PARTS OF NORTHWEST NORTH
DAKOTA THIS FRIDAY MORNING...

VISIBILITIES WERE LESS THAN A MILE AT MANY LOCATIONS NORTH OF LAKE
SAKAKAWEA AND WEST OF HIGHWAY 83 THIS MORNING. A FEW POCKETS WITH
VISIBILITIES BELOW 1/4 MILE IN PATCHY DENSE FOG WERE FOUND FROM
WILLISTON THROUGH TIOGA TO STANLEY. THE FOG WAS DEPOSITING A THIN
LAYER OF ICE ON ROADS AND SIDEWALKS. THE FOG WILL LIFT BY LATE
MORNING.

BE EXTRA CAREFUL WALKING OR DRIVING THIS MORNING...ESPECIALLY IF
DRIVING NEAR SCHOOLS...CROSSWALKS...AND STOPPED BUSES.
