AN APPROACHING LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM IS EXPECTED TO BRING A WINTRY MIX
OF RAIN...SNOW...AND FREEZING RAIN TO NORTHWEST AND NORTH CENTRAL
NORTH DAKOTA THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT. WESTERN NORTH DAKOTA SHOULD
SEE MORE OF A MIX OF RAIN AND SNOW. HOWEVER THE MIX OF FREEZING RAIN
AND SNOW WILL BE MORE OF A CONCERN IN NORTH CENTRAL NORTH
DAKOTA...PARTICULARLY ALONG AND NORTH OF HIGHWAY 52 FROM KENMARE TO
CARRINGTON. CITIES AND TOWNS IN THIS AREA ALSO INCLUDE MINOT AND
HARVEY...BOTTINEAU AND RUGBY...AND THE TURTLE MOUNTAINS. ALTHOUGH
PRECIPITATION AMOUNTS ARE EXPECTED TO BE LIGHT...SLIPPERY ROADS AND
WALKING SURFACES MAY DEVELOP IN THE FREEZING PRECIPITATION.
