...A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT SOUTHEASTERN WARD AND
WEST CENTRAL MCHENRY COUNTIES UNTIL 845 PM CDT...

At 757 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 5 miles south of Minot Air Force Base to 7
miles southeast of Des Lacs to 4 miles east of Plaza. Movement was
east at 40 mph.

Wind gusts to 40 mph will be possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Minot, Minot Air Force Base, Velva, Burlington, Surrey, Sawyer,
Granville, Deering, Denbigh, Rice Lake, Norwich, Logan and Simcoe.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek shelter
inside a building or vehicle.

A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for
north central and northwestern North Dakota.
