...MODERATE TO HEAVY BAND OF SNOW DEVELOPING THIS AFTERNOON INTO
TONIGHT...

A brief period of moderate to heavy snowfall will develop this
afternoon across northwest and north central North Dakota,
spreading southeast into the northern James River Valley tonight.
Snowfall accumulations of between 2 and 4 inches can be expected with
the band of heavier snowfall. Locations impacted by this snowfall
include Williston, Stanley, Minot, Garrison, Harvey, and Carrington.
In addition, brisk north to northwest winds will accompany the snow
tonight, resulting in patchy blowing snow and possibly reducing
visibility at times.

Motorists who have travel plans this afternoon into tonight are
urged to allow extra time in reaching their destination.
