...PERSISTENT FOG WAS REDUCING VISIBILITY ACROSS PARTS OF
NORTHWEST NORTH DAKOTA THIS FRIDAY AFTERNOON...

VISIBILITIES WERE LESS THAN A MILE AT MANY LOCATIONS NORTH OF LAKE
SAKAKAWEA AND WEST OF HIGHWAY 83 EARLY THIS AFTERNOON. A FEW
POCKETS WITH VISIBILITIES BELOW 1/4 MILE IN PATCHY DENSE FOG WERE
FOUND FROM TIOGA TO STANLEY. THE FOG WAS DEPOSITING A THIN LAYER
OF ICE ON ROADS AND SIDEWALKS. THE FOG IS EXPECTED TO PERSIST
THOUGH THE AFTERNOON.

BE EXTRA CAREFUL WALKING OR DRIVING.
