...WINTER WEATHER MAKES A RETURN TO WESTERN AND CENTRAL NORTH
.Precipitation will expand across western and central North
Dakota tonight, and continue through Monday morning. Snow with a
possible mix of freezing rain is expected mainly along and north
of the Highway 2 corridor. This includes Williston, Crosby,
Minot, Bottineau and Rolla. Snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches
can be expected in this area, with some locally higher amounts.
A wintry mix of freezing rain, sleet and snow is possible south
of Highway 2 through the Interstate 94 corridor. This includes
Dickinson, Beulah, Garrison, Bismarck, Harvey, Carrington and
Jamestown. A thin glaze of ice is possible in these areas, along
with light snow amounts of an inch or less.
Roads will become slick tonight into Monday morning. Allow extra
time to reach your destination during your Monday morning

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 1 AM CDT /MIDNIGHT MDT/
TO 1 PM CDT /NOON MDT/ MONDAY...
The National Weather Service in Bismarck has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for a mix of snow, sleet and freezing
rain...which is in effect from 1 AM CDT /midnight MDT/ to 1 PM
CDT /noon MDT/ Monday.
* Expect a wintry mix to develop around 1 AM Monday and then
diminish around 1 PM Monday.
* Total wet snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches and ice
accumulations of a light icing are expected.
* Look for reduced visibilities at times.
* The ice will result in difficult travel conditions...including
during the morning commute on Monday.
A winter weather advisory means that periods of snow...sleet or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities...and use caution while
