...Preliminary Storm Survey Scheduled for Coosa County Alabama...

The National Weather Service office in Birmingham AL will conduct
a storm survey today across southern Coosa County and possibly
Chilton County. The survey is in relation to the reported damage
from severe thunderstorms that moved through the area on the
evening of April 2 2024.

A final assessment including results of the survey are expected
to be completed and transmitted via a Public Information
Statement by this afternoon.

The storm survey information will also be available on our
website at http://www.weather.gov/bmx
