.DISCUSSION...More clouds than sun can be expected today, but
temperatures will be quite mild for this time of year. There will
be cooling however this afternoon as scattered showers develop.
There is a low (10-15%) probability of a couple rumbles of
thunder. Smoke dispersal will be very good with sufficient mixing
and destabilization late this morning through most of the
afternoon. Winds should become upslope/upvalley by early to mid
morning with west/northwest winds prevailing. However, showers in
the area could bring variable winds with gusts to 20-25 mph
anytime this afternoon.

Wednesday will feature warmer temperatures and winds turning a bit
more southwesterly. Smoke dispersal will be excellent due to
warmer temperatures and deep mixing. Humidities will also be
lowering, with readings dropping into the 16-19% range for
minimums. There is a very slight risk of a passing late afternoon
sprinkle, but dry conditions will certainly prevail.

A higher chance of showers and storms can be expected by Thursday
afternoon and evening as a weather disturbance moves into the
region.
