SOUTHEASTERN LOUISA COUNTIES IS CANCELLED...

The storms which prompted the warning have moved out of the warned
area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 530 AM CDT
FOR NORTHEASTERN HENDERSON...SOUTHWESTERN ROCK ISLAND...CENTRAL
MERCER...CEDAR...SCOTT...EASTERN MUSCATINE AND SOUTHWESTERN CLINTON
COUNTIES...

At 445 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Stanwood to Durant to near Aledo, moving northeast at
50 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Davenport, Rock Island, Bettendorf, Muscatine, Aledo, Tipton, Durant,
Stanwood, Eldridge, Milan, Wilton, Walcott, Blue Grass, Buffalo,
Andalusia, Lowden, Millersburg, Reynolds, Eliza, and Joy.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 74 in Iowa between mile markers 1 and 3.
 Interstate 80 in Iowa between mile markers 261 and 299.
 Interstate 280 between mile markers 1 and 13.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
sturdy building.

To report severe weather contact your nearest law enforcement agency.
They will send your report to the National Weather Service office in
the Quad Cities.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature`s leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
