...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM NOON CDT TODAY THROUGH SUNDAY
AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...Portions of Kansas, including the following areas,
  Atchison KS, Doniphan, Johnson KS, Leavenworth, Linn KS, Miami and
  Wyandotte and Missouri, including the following areas, Bates,
  Buchanan, Caldwell, Carroll, Cass, Chariton, Clay, Clinton,
  Cooper, Henry, Howard, Jackson, Johnson MO, Lafayette, Livingston,
  Pettis, Platte, Randolph, Ray and Saline.

* WHEN...From noon CDT today through Sunday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more
  heavy rain.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Widespread rainfall amounts of  2 to 4 inches expected
    Saturday evening and overnight into Sunday morning. Some
    locally higher amounts are possible.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop.
