.DISCUSSION...Showers and thunderstorms are forecast for the
interior this afternoon, mainly in Trinity county. A cooling
trend will start today with additional cooling Wednesday.
Drastically cooler interior temperatures, rain and high mountain
snow will return Thursday through Friday. Additional showers and
below normal temperatures are expected through the weekend.
