...RED FLAG WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM CDT THIS
EVENING FOR WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY OVER THE RIO GRANDE
AND SOUTHERN EDWARDS PLATEAU...

A Red Flag Warning for strong southerly winds and low relative
humidity remains in effect through 10 PM CDT this evening.

* WINDS...Southeast 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 13 to 20 percent.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop can spread rapidly and
  exhibit resistance to control. Any outdoor activity that could
  produce flames or sparks is discouraged.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now....or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds...low relative humidity...and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
