745 FNUS72 KFFC 290705 FWSFFC Spot Forecast for 116...USFS National Weather Service Peachtree City GA 305 AM EDT Mon Apr 29 2024 Forecast is based on ignition time of 0800 EDT on April 29. If conditions become unrepresentative...contact the National Weather Service. .DISCUSSION... Good morning Amy, Looks like a good day to burn. We`re expecting mostly sunny skies with winds out of the SSE at less than 8 mph. Could see a few gusts to 15mph by the afternoon if we mix into the transport winds. Minimum RH values will fall into the low 40s this afternoon and with southerly winds it`s unlikely they`ll fall significantly below the forecast. The next chance of precip isn`t until late afternoon Tuesday and it`s unlikely that the Oconee will see any significant rainfall totals with it. Mostly a couple rumbles of thunder and around a tenth of an inch of new rain. We`ll have the day shift keep an eye on the RAWS for you and give you a heads up if anything goes sideways. Otherwise, have a good burn and let us know if you need anything. .REST OF TODAY... Sky/weather.........Mostly sunny (25-35 percent). CWR.................0 percent. Max temperature.....Around 83.
