.SHORT TERM...(This evening through Thursday)
Issued at 144 PM CDT Wed Jul 27 2016

Minimal impacts through the short term. Wedge of surface high
pressure will maintain relatively cool/dry airmass over the
forecast area overnight into Thursday. Cu field should dissipate
with loss of heating with SCT-BKN Cu redevelopment Thu afternoon.
Temperatures will range on the cool side of seasonal averages
tonight and tomorrow.

.LONG TERM...(Thursday night through Wednesday)
Issued at 144 PM CDT Wed Jul 27 2016

This weekend will start off with humidity levels and temperatures
near seasonal normals as weak 500mb flow aloft and sfc high pressure
allow for a quiet weather regime. An isolated late day shower is
possible Friday...coverage will be severely limited. Increasing
temperatures and instability from steady...however relatively light
return flow combined with local moisture and SW flow aloft...will
create diurnal thunder chances for Saturday and Sunday. By Monday
more widespread convective activity is expected with the passage of
a trough trailing a low pressure tracking across the Canadian
prairies. A mostly dry Tuesday is expected with another wave
possible for Wednesday bringing scattered storms.
