.DISCUSSION...
The key word this week is temperatures well below normal for most
areas. The exception is far southeastern North Dakota and west
central Minnesota where it will be warmer today, before cooling
Tuesday.

Low pressure will move from South Dakota into central and
northeastern Minnesota today and this evening. Rain and snow will
occur north and west of the low. Several inches of snow are
anticipated north of Devils Lake and eastward along the Canadian
border while a widespread rain is anticipated Cooperstown to
Grand Forks to Thief River Falls. Scattered showers and less
rainfall expected Fargo area and points south and east.

Next chance for rain and snow arrives early Wednesday into
Wednesday night for southeastern North Dakota and into west
central into north central Minnesota.
