Fire Weather Planning Forecast for E ND, NW and WC MN
National Weather Service Grand Forks ND
306 PM CDT Sat May 27 2017

.DISCUSSION...

Slightly cooler weather with increased cloud cover is expected
Sunday. Breezy conditions will continue throughout the day with a
northwest wind gusting up to 25 mph in northwest Minnesota and up to
40 mph in eastern North Dakota, making for very good to excellent
smoke dispersal. High temperatures will reach the 60s to lower 70s
Sunday, with the lowest humidity values in the 30 to 50 percent
range in eastern North Dakota and 40 to 60 percent range in
northwest Minnesota. An upper level disturbance moving in from
Canada will generate scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly in
the afternoon and early evening hours.

Scattered on and off showers and cool, breezy conditions will linger
through Monday and Monday night as additional weak impulses move
through. After showers move out Tuesday, expect the second half of
the week to be dry and warmer.
