...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN YUMA AND
NORTHWESTERN DUNDY COUNTIES THROUGH 1245 PM MDT...

At 1157 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms capable of producing a landspout 15 miles south of
Pleasant Valley, or 18 miles northeast of Wray, moving southwest at
10 mph.

HAZARD...Landspout tornadoes, wind gusts up to 50 mph, and nickel
         size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Gusty winds
could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured
         objects.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northeastern Yuma
and northwestern Dundy Counties, including the following locations...
Laird, Alvin, and Wauneta.

This includes Highway 385 between mile markers 236 and 266.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Landspout tornadoes can form with a developing thunderstorm before
rain, hail, and even thunder is observed. Landspout tornadoes are not
usually associated with a wall cloud and are often difficult to
detect with weather radar.
