.DISCUSSION...
Mixing begins this morning across the interior, leading to
another very dry day. Expect RH values to
again fall into the teens to 20s for much of the interior,
although there is some uncertainty how much of this dry air is
mixed to the surface due to the lighter winds. With these lighter
winds, do expect coastal locations to see a seabreeze arrive mid
afternoon, causing a southerly wind shift and some lowering
temperatures. This may bring some RH recovery ahead of sunset.
High pressure begins to slide east Saturday, resulting in a bit
more southerly moisture advection into the region. Thus expect
dry conditions to continue, but not as dry as midweek. Next
chance of rain arrives Saturday night and Sunday, although
amounts are currently forecast to fall short of wetting rain
criteria.
