This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and north
central Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Elevated fire weather conditions likely this afternoon affecting
areas along and west of Highway 61 across western Nebraska. The
concern is humidity near or below 20 percent and west winds 10 to 15
mph with stronger gusts.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Isolated thunderstorms are possible Saturday evening, primarily near
and west of Highway 61. Additional thunderstorms will be possible
Sunday afternoon and evening near and east of Highway 83. At this
time, the threat for severe weather appears low.

Confidence continues to increase regarding a strong spring storm
arriving Sunday afternoon and lasting into Monday. The hazards are
accumulating snow, freezing rain or sleet, strong winds and blowing
snow which could affect travel or young livestock.

There is still some uncertainty with the timing and location of the
storm track, which will affect the impact of the storm across
western and north central Nebraska. Keep up to date with the latest
forecasts as this storm approaches the region.
