  Neches River Near Evadale

  Neches River Near Town Bluff

  Neches River at Neches River Saltwater Barrier

  Pine Island Bayou Near Sour Lake

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL LATE FRIDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
  forecast.

* WHERE...Village Creek near Kountze.

* WHEN...Until late Friday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 22.0 feet, Water covers entire floor of Farm to
  Market Road 418. Water threatens homes near the creek in Kountze.
  Significant flooding occurs in Village Creek State Park.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1:32 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 22.4 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 1:32 PM CDT Sunday was 23.7 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    late Thursday evening and continue falling to 16.3 feet early
    Friday afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 17.0 feet.

* IMPACTS...At 30.5 feet, Riverbend Drive in Bevil Oaks is
  impassable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1:45 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 29.8 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 1:45 PM CDT Sunday was 29.8 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 29.9
    feet this evening.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Neches River near Evadale.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 19.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding. Water enters
  buildings adjacent to gauge.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1:00 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 18.4 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 1:00 PM CDT Sunday was 18.4 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to 19.3 feet early
    Thursday afternoon. Additional rises are possible thereafter.
  - Flood stage is 17.0 feet.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
  forecast.

* WHERE...Neches River near Town Bluff.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 73.0 feet, Flooding expected in the Mont Neches,
  Barlow Lake and Sheffield`s Ferry communities. Some homes may
  become flooded as well, especially in the Barlow Lake community.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1:00 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 73.4 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 1:00 PM CDT Sunday was 73.4 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to near 75 feet
    early Tuesday afternoon. Additional rises are possible
    thereafter.
  - Flood stage is 68.0 feet.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE...

* WHAT...Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Neches River at Neches River Saltwater Barrier.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, Major flooding along the river including
  Northwest Orange County From Lake View to the Saltwater Barrier
  with several homes and camps flooded. Flooding is also occurring
  along the river in Beaumont with major flooding at Colliers Ferry
  Park and around the Beaumont Country Club. Residential roads off
  of Pine Street are impassable and water up to homes. Several
  streets in Northeast Beaumont also become flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1:15 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 10.3 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 1:15 PM CDT Sunday was 10.3 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 10.5
    feet early tomorrow afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 4.0 feet.
