...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR SOUTHEASTERN HARRISON COUNTY
IS CANCELLED...

The storms which prompted the warning have moved out of the warned
area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 300 AM EDT for
south central Indiana...and central Kentucky.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1230 AM EDT
FOR SOUTH CENTRAL CLARK...NORTHEASTERN FLOYD...SOUTHWESTERN OLDHAM...
JEFFERSON AND NORTHWESTERN BULLITT COUNTIES...

At 1208 AM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from New Albany to Pleasure Ridge Par to near Valley
Station, moving east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Louisville, Jeffersonville, New Albany, Jeffersontown, St. Matthews,
Shively, Shepherdsville, Lyndon, Middletown, and Douglass Hills.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of
a building.

To report severe weather contact your nearest law enforcement agency.
They will send your report to the National Weather Service office in
Louisville.
