Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern/Central MO and Southwest IL
National Weather Service Saint Louis MO
210 PM CDT Sun Apr 21 2024

.DISCUSSION...

Warmer temperatures are forecast on Monday as winds turn to the
southwest and increase to 10-15+ mph. Near elevated fire danger
is expected in parts of northeast Missouri and west-central
Illinois, but recent greenup and marginal RH values (near to
just below 30 percent) preclude mention. Low-level moisture
will increase on Tuesday with increasing chances of showers
and possibly a few thunderstorms ahead of a cold front.
