...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN BUTLER...CENTRAL
MONROE AND CENTRAL CONECUH COUNTIES THROUGH 1145 PM CDT...

At 1058 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 4
miles east of Peterman, or 9 miles northeast of Monroeville, moving
southeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Monroeville, Evergreen, Frisco City, Peterman, Excel, Repton, and I65
And US 84.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
