...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT
NORTHEASTERN TAZEWELL...CENTRAL BLAND AND SOUTHERN MERCER COUNTIES
THROUGH 1115 PM EDT...

At 1046 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Coaldale, or 10 miles southeast of Welch, moving southeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.
