...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM AST THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by flood waters from Rio Culebrina in
  Aguada, Aguadilla, Moca & San Sebastian.

* WHERE...A portion of Puerto Rico, including the following
  counties, Aguada, Aguadilla, Moca and San Sebastian.

* WHEN...Until 900 PM AST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams
  continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall.
  Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be
  passable. Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water.
  Local media have reported water rescues.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1149 AM AST, Emergency management reported flooding issues
    due to standing water in PR-110, PR-115 in intersection with
    PR-115, PR-125 in Bo. Guatemala. Afternoon activity already
    started and it could result in more runoff across the rivers.
    Please stay tune for further information.
  - This includes the following streams and drainages...
    Coastal Watershed, Rio Sonador, Rio Ingenio, Canal Principal
    De Diversion, Rio Culebrinas, Rio Culebra, Rio Canas, Rio
    Guatemala, Rio Grande de Anasco Watershed, Rio Guajataca and
    Rio Grande de Anasco.
    Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
    expected.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become
unstable and unsafe.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.
