...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Florida...
Suwannee River at Rock Bluff near Bell (CR 340) affecting Dixie,
Lafayette and Gilchrist Counties.
For the Lower Suwannee River...including Rock Bluff near Bell (CR
340), Wilcox (US 19), Manatee Springs (source), Manatee Springs,
Fowler Bluff (CR 347)...Minor flooding is forecast.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE...
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Suwannee River at Rock Bluff near Bell (CR 340).
* WHEN...Until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 19.0 feet, The boat ramp at the end of NE 967th
Street may flood. Water begins to flood Vicky Guynn Way in
Lafayette County. In Gilchrist County, flooding affects areas
between the river and NW 72nd Way. Flooding expands considerably
around NW 73rd Way and NW 82nd terrace. Much of NW 6th street is
flooded. Residences begin to be affected near SW 77th Avenue. In
Dixie County, water overspreads the bank at Turner Point, flooding
the boat access area and the backyards of several residences near
the river.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:00 AM EDT Friday the stage was 17.4 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 9:00 AM EDT Friday was 17.5 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to 19.0 feet early
Thursday morning. Additional rises are possible thereafter.
- Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
19.3 feet on 12/29/2018.
