.DISCUSSION...

Southerly transport winds increase to 20 to 25 mph with mixing
heights between 3500-3700 feet. This will lead to dispersions
nearing 65 today. Surface winds will remain out of the south to
south-southeast around 10 to 15 mph with gusts as high as 25 mph.
MinRH is forecast to bottom out between 55 to 60 percent early
this afternoon. Rain chances increase late this afternoon into
this evening as a strong to severe line of storms races east.
The line of storms could arrive as early as 3 PM or as late as 7
PM and could cause a rapid wind shift out of the west as it
arrives.

A cold front moves through the region early Thursday morning and
causes winds to turn more out of the southwest and increase to 15
to 20 mph with gusts as high as 30 mph. Dispersions are forecast
to be over 100 Thursday afternoon due to the combination of
transport winds of 25 to 30 mph and mixing heights up to 5100
feet.
