JACKSON...SOUTHWESTERN BROWN AND SOUTHEASTERN MARSHALL COUNTIES
THROUGH 1045 PM CDT...

At 1012 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Centralia to Ramona. Movement was southeast at
55 mph.

HAZARD...Strong wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Manhattan, Junction City, Abilene, Wamego, Herington, Council Grove,
Alma, Westmoreland, Blaine, St. Marys, Ogden, Grandview Plaza,
Chapman, Riley, Enterprise, Frankfort, Onaga, St. George, White City,
and Milford.

This includes Interstate 70 between mile markers 277 and 336.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for central,
northeastern and east central Kansas.
